The Progenitor, It's not action-packed, and more of a philosophical and science-based story.....

 The journey was long.  Millennia, in fact.  But the thinking part of the Progenitor was asleep, and didn’t notice the time pass.  The thinking part was just one of many parts of the Progenitor, and not all were asleep.  Passive sensors listened for transmissions of varying spectra, but heard nothing more than the ordinary interstellar background noise... ​
